Your thoughts: employing young people

 As a registered employer or visitor to the GradsKent website, we know that you understand the importance of making opportunities available for young people and graduates in Kent.

You might be interested to hear that a new select committee review is taking place in Kent County Council - The Student Journey Select Committee. This Committee consists of eight elected Members of Kent County Council who, in the next 10-12 months, will explore issues related to the employability of young people in Kent. At the end of this investigative work the Committee will produce a report whose recommendations, if approved by the County Council, will become policy which will have county-wide impact.

In order for the Committee to accurately respresent local views and opinions, it is keen to hear from a wide range of audiences including Kent-based employers.
